Couch Mountain 2 is a mountain modern home in Fletcher, NC. The building concept consists of two interlocking volumes angled in relation to each other, framing a naturally occurring site knoll. The upper volume covers the main level deck and the lower volume’s has a green roof that can be enjoyed from the second level bedrooms. The angle rotation of the two volumes is also in direct response to the long distance mountain views.
This modern residence will be clad in low maintenance corrugated metal sheets.
